Do you know? Inferior oxford cloth fabric is likely to contain heavy metals, when human skin and fabric contact, under the catalysis of sweat and body temperature, some heavy metals will be absorbed by the human body, with the enrichment of heavy metals, the body's digestive system, urinary system, nervous system will be irreversible damage. Domestic textile standards stipulate that nickel (Ni), antimony (Sb), arsenic (As), mercury (Hg), lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), copper (Cu), chromium (Cr), cobalt (Co) and other heavy metals content shall not exceed the standard, European EN71-3 stipulates that antimony (Sb), arsenic (As), mercury (Hg), lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), selenium (Se), barium (Ba), chromium (Cr) eight soluble heavy metals shall not exceed the standard.

Inferior Oxford cloth does not use preparations in the process of dyeing and post-treatment (such as adding flame retardants, waterproofing agents, printing treatment, etc.), which can easily lead to excessive heavy metals. Therefore, when we choose Oxford cloth, we must pay attention to whether the fabric has heavy metal inspection standards, and rationally choose qualified and safe products.
